The liver is one of the most important — and overworked — organs in the body. It filters your blood, stores and manages nutrients, processes fats, balances hormones, regulates blood sugar, and performs over 500 vital functions. And yet, it’s rarely the focus when things start to go wrong.
Because the liver works so hard to keep everything else running smoothly, signs of trouble often show up elsewhere first: in your skin, your energy levels, digestion, weight, mood, or immune system. It’s only when we start to support the liver directly that we see just how central it is to our overall wellbeing — and how much can improve when it’s given the right conditions to function properly.
Alcohol plays a bigger role than most people realise. Even small amounts can be harmful — despite what outdated or biased research may suggest. And most of us, at some point or another, have probably overdone it. Whether it’s the daily glass of wine, weekend drinking, or heavier periods in the past, alcohol puts a silent strain on the liver. Over time, it can build up to a tipping point — and that’s when symptoms begin to surface.
If you have a sense that your liver may be struggling, you’re probably right. The good news is: it’s never too late to start supporting it.
When the liver is overloaded, it can’t do its job properly — toxins linger in the system, hormones become unbalanced, digestion slows down, and inflammation increases. This creates a knock-on effect throughout the body, often showing up as fatigue, brain fog, stubborn weight gain, skin issues, bloating, joint pain, anxiety, or hormonal problems. The link is rarely made — but the liver is almost always involved.
That’s why a focused liver cleanse can be so powerful. It gives the liver space to catch up, clear out built-up waste, and function more efficiently. And when the liver gets back on track, many other symptoms begin to improve — not through force, but because the body is no longer working against itself.
For many of our guests, a proper liver cleanse is the missing link. It’s not a magic fix — but it often leads to real, lasting change. And if your liver has been under pressure for years, it’s one of the most important things you can do.
At Bronlara, we offer the original 369 Advanced Liver Cleanse, developed by Anthony William, also known as the Medical Medium.
While we don’t follow all aspects of his wider teachings — and we do not endorse the spiritual direction his work has taken in recent years — we’ve chosen to offer this specific cleanse because, quite simply, it works. We’ve seen it in practice. Again and again, guests report better energy, improved digestion, clearer skin, more stable moods, and relief from long-standing health issues.
Even if you don’t fully subscribe to the Medical Medium philosophy, the protocol itself stands on its own — a deeply nourishing raw vegan plan that supports detoxification, reduces inflammation, and gives the liver the chance to repair. One way or another, it offers real benefit.
We’re also aware of the controversy surrounding Anthony William’s methods, and we’re happy to discuss that openly if it’s on your mind. We don’t follow trends or dogma — just what works best for people.
At Bronlara, we offer the Advanced version of the 369 Liver Cleanse — one of three versions developed by Anthony William. If you’ve made the commitment to come to us, we believe it’s worth guiding you through the most challenging version, so that it becomes not just a manageable experience, but something you can learn and, if you wish, replicate at home later on.
The Advanced Cleanse follows a clear, repetitive structure — and that’s part of its strength. The juices and smoothies are nearly identical each day, with only small changes (like the gradual increase in celery juice). Dinner brings a little more variation, but the overall consistency creates a rhythm that many find unexpectedly comforting. It frees up energy, clears mental clutter, and often allows deeper emotional shifts to emerge as the body settles.
It’s called 369 because the cleanse moves in three sets of three days:
Prepare the liver
Support deeper detox
Push through to release
Day 9 is essentially a fast, and by then, many guests feel physically lighter and emotionally clearer. The structure reflects the natural flow of inner work: preparation, release, and renewal.
We use fresh organic produce wherever possible, and a portion of it is grown on site — something we’re gradually expanding so that more of what you eat is truly local, fresh, and alive.
You don’t need supplements for this cleanse to be effective, and we don’t include them in our programmes. If you already take Medical Medium supplements, you may continue with them during your stay. If you take other types of supplements, we ask that you check with us beforehand or bring them along so we can assess together whether they might be suitable to continue during or after the cleanse.
Lastly, while we’re experienced in supporting detox protocols, we never advise on medication or dosages. If you’re on prescription medication, we’ll work around it — but please consult your doctor before making any changes.
Life on the cleanse has a clear rhythm, but it isn’t rushed. We respect everyone’s own timing — whether you’re an early riser or someone who prefers a slower start to the day. The schedule is structured to work either way, giving space for rest as well as nourishment.
The Advanced 369 Cleanse must be followed exactly in sequence, though the amounts are flexible: you may have more or less according to your needs, but nothing should be skipped. This way, no one goes hungry.

The Advanced 369 Liver Cleanse provides abundant nourishment throughout the day — from juices and smoothies to fruit platters and an evening salad — so while it is a detox, it’s also an energising programme. You may feel a little tired in the first couple of days, but once settled, most guests find they have more than enough energy for yoga, meditation, and even more active pursuits. Gentle movement and mindfulness practices help the body release and the mind stay steady as the cleanse progresses.
Yoga supports the cleanse by encouraging circulation, easing tension, and helping you connect with your body’s needs. Our small classes are adapted to your level, whether you want a soft flow or a more dynamic session.
Detoxification is as much emotional as it is physical. Daily guided meditations create space for calm, clarity, and balance — helping you process and reset as your liver releases. No experience is required.
Alongside yoga and meditation, you may enjoy our mineral pool, gym, or the neighbouring nature trail. Because the cleanse is fully raw and still provides energy, it is possible to play tennis, pickleball, or basketball — though we always encourage you to listen to your body first.
Some guests enjoy a burst of music and movement even while fasting. Zumba is always optional, and you can take it at your own pace — just enough to lift your spirits.
Every cleanse is personal. Some days you may feel like joining in, while others call for rest. At Bronlara, we encourage you to follow your own pace — whatever best supports your healing journey.
No! Portions are large and flexible — you can have as much as you like, but nothing should be skipped.

The detox process can sometimes make things feel worse before they improve (see our blog piece on Hering’s Law of Cure). During the first few days, some people experience headaches, flu-like symptoms, chills, or even a mild rash. These are normal signs of the body adjusting and usually pass by day four. After that, most guests notice a clear lift in energy and clarity.
If you can, start reducing or better eliminating alcohol, caffeine, gluten and dairy in the week leading up to your stay. This will make the first days of cleansing much smoother.
Yes – and once you’ve experienced it here, you’ll see that it’s not as complicated as it might seem. Watching it in action, with everything laid out and prepared for you, makes it much easier to understand the flow. Many guests leave feeling confident enough to attempt it themselves later.
That said, daily life has a way of getting in the way — shopping, meal prep, work, family obligations, and social commitments can all make it challenging to stay on track. That’s exactly why we offer it here at Bronlara: to take the burden off you, provide the space and structure, and let you focus fully on the cleanse.
We don’t offer medical oversight. If you are taking medication or have complex health issues, please consult your doctor first. Our role is to provide the right environment, food, and support — not medical care.
